VIA formed a team to participate in the city clean up. Kimberly Reading found the most unusual item which gave us yet another trophy to display at Albertus Cottage. She found an old window weight that was over 100 years old, along with a hand formed nail. It seemed very fitting for Kim, our local history buff, found the oldest item of the day.
Thank you Tara, for creating our lovely hats — they really helped us get team spirit! We have saved them to use for another function.
Thank you to all who came out and helped make Orange City beautiful!
We have adopted Graves Road and Dickinson Park, and will be cleaning once a month on a Sunday Morning. If you are able, we would love for you to join us in these efforts.
The next three cleanups are scheduled for: May 26th, June 23rd and July 28th from 8:30am to 10:30am.
